On 12-13 March 2025, the ICMPD CORE-UA Team conducted the first coordination meeting with training elements for the teams of Ukrainian Consultation Centers in Germany.
The project team, and participants from Munich, Düsseldorf and Berlin met on the premises of the Ukrainian Consultation Center in Berlin to establish priorities for future work, organise work processes, familiarise themselves with procedures and rules, and set tasks for the upcoming period.
During four sessions over the two-day event, newly recruited consultants gained extensive knowledge of ICMPD rules and regulations, reporting procedures, working with information seekers, social media management, and strategic planning. In addition, representatives from the Ukrainian Consulate in Berlin led a session on consular affairs as well as needs and challenges of Ukrainian displaced persons in Germany.
